2026 Suzuki GSX-8TT – Retro Soul, Modern Spirit
Step into the bold fusion of classic charisma and cutting-edge engineering: the 2026 Suzuki GSX-8TT. Designed under the theme “Retro Spirit, Next Generation Performance,” the GSX-8TT is a modern sport standard with deep roots in Suzuki’s legendary heritage.
The GSX-8TT features a bespoke headlight cowl (quarter fairing) and under cowl (chin spoiler) that evoke the golden era of Suzukis like the GS1000 AMA roadracers.
At the front, a mono-round LED headlight with a flat-bottom design channels Suzuki’s classic aesthetic while delivering modern illumination.
The bike also sports bar-end mirrors, a first for Suzuki’s modern street machines — enhancing both style and visibility.
The 4.3 U.S. gallon (16.5 L) fuel tank is sculpted for rider mobility while maintaining a retro-inspired profile.
Its seat is finished in exclusive stitched upholstery and shaped to offer both aesthetic appeal and comfortable ergonomics.
Other touches include brushed stainless-steel muffler covers, black-finished engine side covers, and bold 3-D “8TT” logos on the bodywork.
Available color schemes include Pearl Matte Shadow Green and Glass Sparkle Black, each complemented by tasteful striping and matching wheel accents.
At its heart is Suzuki’s reliable 776 cc DOHC parallel-twin with a 270° crank layout — the same powerplant found in the GSX-8R and GSX-8S.
The engine is tuned to deliver 82 horsepower (≈ 61 kW) and approximately 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm, offering strong, flexible performance across the rev range.
Suzuki’s Cross Balancer technology helps reduce vibration, making the ride smoother.
The engine pairs to a 6-speed transmission with a bi-directional quick-shift system and a Slipper/Assist clutch, enabling crisp upshifts and smoother downshifts.
The GSX-8TT shares its frame, wheelbase, and basic geometry with Suzuki’s GSX-8S platform, yielding a balanced blend of agility and stability.
Up front sits an inverted KYB 41 mm fork (non-adjustable), and at the rear a preload-adjustable KYB link-type monoshock.
Braking hardware includes dual 310 mm front discs with radially mounted Nissin 4-piston calipers, plus a single 240 mm rear disc. ABS is standard.
Tires come as 120/70-17 front and 180/55-17 rear, mounted on cast-aluminum wheels wrapped in Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 rubber.
Suzuki’s Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) integrates multiple rider aids:
• Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS) with three throttle maps (A/B/C)
• Traction Control (STCS) with three settings + off
• Bi-directional Quick Shift (QSS)
• Low RPM Assist, Easy Start System, and ABS
The instrument cluster is a 5-inch full-color TFT display with clear, intuitive readouts of ride mode, gear, rpm, and more.
A USB-C fast-charging socket is integrated into the bike for rider convenience on the road.
Seat height: 31.9 inches (≈ 810 mm)
Curb weight: approx. 445 lbs (≈ 202 kg)
Wheelbase: 57.7 in (≈ 1465 mm)
Fuel capacity: 4.3 U.S. gallons (≈ 16.5 L)
The bike is designed to offer a relaxed yet responsive riding posture, perfectly suited for both spirited canyon runs and longer weekend wardrives.
